I don't usually take the time to write reviews but after consulting with Lisa Lucas for the interior update of my mother's 1954 city brick home that she helped us sell, in record time, I had to take the time to share my thoughts. Lisa recommended the paint colors for a full house update, had a keen sense of what needed to be done (and what didn't) both inside and outside the house to get it ready to sell, and was very responsive when we had questions or problems along the way. She staged the home in a mid-century appeal that looked harmonious with the age of the house and added just the right touches to generate maximum interest in the home. I believe that we got top dollar for our home largely due to her hard work and expertise. I appreciated her interior design guidance so much that I also asked (begged!) her to help us update our rural suburban home. We followed her suggestions for paint colors, carpet, lighting, and furniture placement "to a tee" and are extremely happy with the results. Lisa gives candid feedback, is thoughtful but decisive with her guidance, is full of ideas (she saved us money by providing cheaper but equally beneficial alternative solutions to ideas we had), and works with integrity and professionalism to help transform a home within a budget -- whether to appeal to prospective buyers for maximum sale value or to simply update a home consistent with your own unique style and personality.

To say Lisa is great at what she does would be completely inadequate to describe the quality of her work. It's not just great - it's amazing. Her knowledge of the market, eye for design and ability to completely transform properties at such a low cost, place her head and shoulders above others in her field. Lisa was able to quickly make an evaluation of the property we were selling and determine who the target buyer would be. There were no corners cut during staging and she delivered beyond what she promised. When we started getting feedback and offers for the property, there were only positive comments about the staging. In the end, the winning offer came from exactly the type of buyer who Lisa said would be interested in the property. Lisa not only understands design, but she understands real estate and marketing. She does her research.

Lisa is fantastic. After an initial consultation, she quickly supplied us with a clear, detailed report with recommendations for painting every room of our house before we put it on the market. She included flooring recommendations as well as light fixtures and hardware. We got the work done and then she staged the house -- it looked fantastic and our 10 offers in one week tell the whole story. Every aspect of the process went smoothly -- communication was great, as was the move in and staging and then the move out -- it could not have been done better. She and our real estate agent Steve Laevastu make a great team.

Lisa is an incredibly talented designer. She was able to walk through our house that we were about to put on the market and come up with a good list of things we could do to get it ready to sell. She recommended very specific wall colors, drapes, and light fixtures. She knows what buyers in our market are looking for and made sure we had the house ready for staging. Once we had done our part, she came in with furniture, drapes, and accessories that were absolutely perfect! (She made me want to move back in.) The house was on the market for less than a week and had numerous offers well above the list price. The final price was higher than we could have dreamed of.

I've had the opportunity to work with Lisa on several projects and every single one of them has been a great experience. Lisa is fun, energetic, and so very talented. Prepares homes for sale, focusing on what is truly necessary to make a difference and uses the most beautiful furnishings. Her transformations are amazing, her before and after photos continue to inspire me. Great work!

Lisa came to our attention through our listing agent Steve Laevastu. They had partnered many times on other listing projects and after seeing her work it was clearly evident why. Her designs and strategy for the staging of our home was a "real eye opener". It certainly made me feel that as a Seller I was confident we would attract the right buyer(s) and reach the goal of our listing price. That is also what happened and it only took 72 hours from the point of listing to attract the level of attention we needed to secure a strong buyer. Lisa transformed our old, neglected rental house into a charming, inviting home, inside and out. She has an eye for picking the perfect paint colors, fixtures and floor coverings. After she staged the home with furnishings and accessories, the transformation was amazing and we couldn't believe that it was the same house! She did a fantastic job and the end product exceeded our expectations.
